Dr. Scott M. Fitzpatrick is on the Register of Professional Archaeologists and has conducted research in island and coastal environments around the world for over 25 years. He has published more than 120 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and several books, numerous technical reports, and is the founding co-editor for the Journal of Island and Coastal Archaeology. He also serves on the editorial boards for Archaeology in Oceania, Caribbean Journal of Science, and the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports. He has worked on contract projects in Micronesia and North America, particularly in the western states and Republic of Palau.

Matthew F. Napolitano (Ph.D. Candidate, 2019, University of Oregon; M.A. Anthropology, 2012, University of West Florida; B.A., 2006, State University of New York at Stony Brook) – archaeologist. Matthew Napolitano is an archaeologist specializing in survey, mapping, and settlement distribution patterns. He has 15 years of experience and expertise in the Pacific, North America, and Caribbean and served as project manager and PI on several major contracts in Palau and Yap, Micronesia. His research interests include island and coastal archaeology with a focus on colonization events, adaptation to island environments, and developing high-precision chronologies.

Jessica H. Stone (Ph.D. Anthropology, 2020, University of Oregon; M.A. Bioarchaeology, 2011, North Carolina State University, B.A. Anthropology, B.A. Environmental Studies, 2009, Eckerd College) – human osteology, ancient DNA, isotopic analysis, bioarchaeology. Jessica Stone is a specialist in human osteology, ancient DNA, and isotopic analyses. She has over 10 years of experience in human osteology and field work in the Caribbean, Pacific, Peru, and the USA, including excavation and recovery of human remains from archaeological contexts, aDNA sampling, and associated lab analysis.

Michiel is a specialist in digital archaeology and archaeological data management and mapping using archaeological information systems (AIS), and is owner and principal of QLC Inc. – InTerris Registries. He has over 25 years of experience and expertise in archaeological field work and digital data management in the Netherlands, U.S.A., Pacific, and the Caribbean.

John Swogger (B.A. Hons 1992, University of Liverpool) – archaeological illustrator. John Swogger is an archaeological illustrator with 25 years field experience recording and presenting archaeological sites in the UK, USA, Turkey, West Indies and the Pacific. He specializes in the development of print- and web-based comics for community-based public outreach.
